Our neighbors moved. They were the kind of neighbors who you passed your kids back and forth over the fence and contemplated just putting in a gate. The kind of neighbors with whom you spent every second of snow days and happy hours and dinners on the regular.

I had the awesome privilege of designing a VIP lounge for the Widespread Panic concert at the Saint Augustine Amphitheatre in Florida last weekend. Mellow Mushroom sponsored the space and hired me to create a bohemian lounge in line with the restaurant and band's cool, chill, hippy vibe.

You guys, I am pretty excited to share with you what is going on this week. Let's start with pizza, where all good things should start. Mellow Mushroom (as most of the country knows) is an amazing pizza joint born out of the free-wheelin' hippy culture of the 70's.

I have had several inquiries about the tent I made for Anna's Vintage Camping Party. The party was such a blast I want to recreate it every weekend and just roast different things over the fire (a girl can handle only so many s'mores, can I get an 'amen'!? No s'more!).

Decorators are always looking for unique boxes. We love to stack them, use them in bookshelves, on table tops, or, like in today's video series, use big ones as furniture pieces.

I asked my almost 7 year-old what she wanted for her birthday. "I want a s'mores party," she said. That's my kid, thinking about the food first.

Vintage maps make great art. They also tell a story of where we have travelled, where we grew up or show where we dream to go someday.

My clients pulled out a picture of lemon meringue pie on a stick and said, "This pie is the inspiration for our new kitchen."

People have strange relationships with books. Some people house them in shrines and stroke their spines in the moonlight. Others scroll on their electronic devices and only interact with the bound word when they dust the stack of old text books in the corner. But when it comes to decorating, to me, books are an essential element.
