I have my clients do a lot of work on the front end to show me what they love. Usually, they have a board on Pinterest or they have collected dream rooms on Houzz.

My clients bought their 1960's home from the original owners. The house had great bones but some seriously dated wallpaper and tiny rooms.

There are times when your favorite client’s mom gets a posh new loft across from Ponce City Market and she insists said loft gets some Gina Sims Designs love. I love those times. Her mother was an absolute joy to work with: I.have.the.best.clients.ever.of.all.time.in.all.the.land.

I am allowed to have favorite projects. I am. It's my design firm. Now, I love my clients and the diversity of beautiful projects I get to work on but sometimes I get to work on something that I never want to leave.

My clients built this gorgeous house when they moved to Atlanta as newlyweds. After a while, they decided it needed a shot of personality. That's where my team comes in! We decided on a palette of navy, aqua, gray and coral to bring some life into their home. Boost!

My client LOVES Moroccan decor, but her amazing, custom-built-by-her-husband-dream-home is ANYTHING BUT Moroccan. So, she wanted to go all out in her bedroom. I was game to make that happen.

There are people in this world who consider it a sin of the worst sort to paint wood, stone or brick. Perhaps you are one of these people? You know who you are and so does everyone else because you are militant about it.

My client recently retired and moved to a beautiful home on the lake. She wanted a country bedroom that reflected the tranquil beauty of her surroundings. Blue evokes feelings of peace, calmness and spirituality as well as security, trust and introspection. We punctuated the blue with tones of white and antique brass.

Who doesn't love a great wall of artistically displayed art and photography? When doing a gallery wall, the trick to making it look like a "collection" is to have a unifying element.

Let's get this new year started with a great "Before & After"! My clients loved their furniture and lamp, but once they purchased them years ago, they stopped, not knowing what to do next.  

When I first did this eDesign plan for my clients, their house was still in blue print phase. It is so fun to see it begin to materialize!

With a little elbow grease and a few dollars we updated this entryway to something that truly says, "Welcome home!"

When my clients decided to update their dining room, we started by taking the palette from warm to cool with lovely grays and blues.
