Scarflace DIY (That's a scarf necklace... You're welcome, dictionary)
The Knick-knack Nancy's met again to craft up some goodness. This time RheaAnn hosted and had us making scarves out of t-shirts. They are a cross between a scarf and a necklace and they add a bit of edge to a tank and cardigan or denim jacket. The whole project took 15-20 minutes and cost as much as a t-shirt. Cheap and easy (not like us).
Materials: Fabric scissors and an XL or XXL t-shirt (we used XL) in any color you'd like and without side seams. That's it! You can use ribbon or embellishments in step 4, if you wish. Follow steps at the bottom of each picture.
Step 4: For the part of the scarf that is still connected (that you didn’t cut all the way through), you can wrap with ribbon, leather or the hem of the t-shirt that you cut off in step 1. That part can go in the back of your neck or, if it’s cute, add some wooden beads, a brooch, anything. Add a bit of glue, wrap and tie securely.
