This gorgeous, stately home in Brookhaven is traditional but that did not mean it had to be boring. We kept the lines of the pieces traditional, while playing with art and color in big and small doses. The office used to be all beige walls and espresso woods. Look at the old girl now! The breakfast nook use to be a playroom. It got turned back into a breakfast nook with art in the form of a beautiful Roman shade and furnishings and rug to give it simple, light and lovely purpose. And the little girl got a big girl room! We did her nursery years ago, so all that was needed to "grow it up" was a new bed and linens, a side table and a new lamp. Good design grows with you!
